Perhaps the most important things you can do to encourage character is to consistently be a good role model, and to let children know when you see them display good character. Here are some other things: Valley Character has opportunities for volunteers within all of out committees. We accept voluntters for individual projects and are glad for the participation. Additionally, membership on our committees is informal -- no dues are required and there is no minimum participation level. Meetings are scheduled when necessary, not on regular dates because we do not want to meet just to meet; we want to meet when there is a reason to meet and a topic or project to discuss. Valley Character realizes there is tremndous value in volunteerism. Therefore we encourage everyone to volunteer with the organization of your choice.
